The Challenge

Vocal Chords is a 5-piece live band based in the Southern Suburbs that plays a range of music from slow jazz, through RnB to pop music. They are a group of friends who wanted a logo that symbolizes their vocal abilities as well as their love for music. This logo would be the showpiece for their band and any band collateral going forward.

My Role

As the Lead Designer, I took into consideration the requirements that the band wanted design-wise. The logo that the band wanted was to be specifically designed using red, black, and white as the colour palette with a need for a versatile logo that can be used in promotional items such as tickets as well as social media and digital branding.

The Result

The end result was a logo design that features the internal love of music flowing from one's mouth (or vocal chords). The design is featured in the desired colour palette of the client. The band was happy with the end result.
