The Challenge
The Private Group better is known as TPG is a start-up business that specializes in products for everyday use on and in your car. They wanted a "Cool and Modern" logo design that would appeal to their desired target audience of male car lovers aged 25-40. This business venture all started with the client's passion for all things car-related. It all started with the love of his own 4 wheeled beauty and the time and attention he put into searching for the perfect TLC routine that would result in care that both internally and externally looked like it just came out the box. This love of cars then spread to his private group of friends who are equally enthralled with their cars - hence the name inspiration.
My Role
As the Lead Designer, my role was to design a logo that was sleek, clean, sophisticated, and modern. This logo design would need to be versatile to be able to be used in both a printed scenario on products, packaging, branded clothing as well as the digital space as the company expands.
The Result
The logo design features the abbreviation TPG in a sleek design that could closely resemble a car logo in it's sleekness. The logo is associated with a few keywords that form the core values of the business: Engineering, Performance, Detailing and Racing.
