A new instance of application design!
The Challenge
Instagram is a popular social media app that allows its users to share photos and videos from their lives, add captions, edit filters, tweak settings, engage with others, explore, and so much more! The current interface is user-friendly but lacks the modern look and feel as well as the personalization aspect. I took on the challenge of redesigning this app to appeal in both looks and feel.
The Challenge
The 1st step was to center align the profile picture and add a cover photo that would allow the users profile to stand out more. The use of icons was expanded upon more in terms of friend requests and adding stories to your timeline. The gallery view used to have a hard edge to them, now they have a softer look to them.
